Free Fire Ceremony

Throughout  time, fire gatherings have served as sacred rites celebrated across the globe. In many Ancient traditions, fires hold a central role in rituals, especially during significant celestial events such as Equinoxes, Solstices, or full moons. These potent gatherings serve as portals for transformative fire spirits to infuse additional energy into the proceedings.

At these revered gatherings, individuals have the opportunity to undergo profound personal changes by releasing old experiences and belief systems for transformation, into the flames. By surrendering these patterns and wounds to the fire, one can heal at the soul level effortlessly, transmuting heaviness into luminous light.

SunGate will be hosting a Cacao and Fire evening, providing a sacred space for forgiveness, healing, release, and metamorphosis. These ceremonies pave a clear path for joy, abundance, and peace to grace the next chapter of life’s journey.

Preparation for attending the fire ceremony is simple yet meaningful:

• Bring two sticks: one plain and one decorated.
  • The plain stick symbolises everything you wish to surrender, transform, heal, and release.
  • The decorated stick represents everything you aspire to welcome, invite, embrace, and accomplish. Let your creativity flow with decorations such as ribbons, flowers, or paint.

At the fire, we will guide you on how to approach the flames and ceremonially place your sticks into the fire. Remember, this is your personal ceremony, and you’re encouraged to offer prayers and communicate directly with the fire for as long as you feel called.

The gathering continues with the harmonious sounds of song, drums, rattles, and music. Feel free to bring along any musical instruments you have to contribute to the collective energy. The fire ceremony culminates with sacred prayers and offerings of sage and prayer logs to bless communities, the world, and humanity.

After the ceremony, we come together for a food share. While attendance is free, we kindly request that you bring a dish or some food to share, along with a piece of wood to use as a prayer log. Sharing food in this communal manner is a gesture of deep gratitude, honoring both the land and our ancestors.

Fire ceremonies serve as gatherings for communities to release, celebrate, manifest, and unite. The transformative power of fire purifies and transitions what is no longer needed, carrying it through sacred prayer smoke.
