Our Palo Santo is sustainably harvested from a private reserve in Piura, Peru, ensuring ethical practices and fair trade. Only trees and branches that have naturally fallen and lain dormant for 4-10 years are harvested by indigenous communities. It’s worth noting that the longer the tree has been dormant, the more potent its woody aroma becomes. Some Palo Santo trees can thrive for 80-90+ years, embodying the rich essence of time and tradition.
